Now that, in some places, the temperature is starting to rise and the sun is shining more, there’s nothing quite like indulging in a refreshing treat to beat the heat. I grew up in Texas, and this was always an absolute must just to get through the hot, summer sun. That’s why when I went to Disney World, I knew I needed to try the hype of this Strawberry Dole Whip people rave and crave.
Arriving in Florida, I didn’t understand how a simple fruity treat was heavenly. I felt that I could go to any fast food restaurant to get a similar drink or experience for way cheaper.
Scooping my first bite, I was in absolute heaven and bliss! It was beyond creamy and fruity it felt like it was transporting my taste buds to paradise. As I was sitting there, I felt that this drink would be so easy to make and achieve at home.
I finally found my perfect, favorite recipe that doesn’t break the bank. And fortunately, it doesn’t take very much to whip this together!
Trying different recipes, I didn’t feel like any of them tasted quite similar… so I needed to try different measurements for myself.
Although, everyone likes their Dole Whip in different forms or with more pineapple juice… I found the Dole Whip that tastes the most identical. But what’s awesome about this recipe is how flexible it is and how you can accommodate it to how you like it best.
Although you can still tell there is a difference because we don’t have the money to buy those expensive ice cream machines, it is still amazing. I personally feel that the cones they serve the Dole Whip make it 10x better, but that might just be me! I think a lot of things they serve at Disney is all psychological to make your brain love it first.
I also loved the strawberry one, so I decided to invest my time and energy into recreating that recipe. Once you ace the Strawberry Dole Whip recipe, you can definitely ace the regular Dole Whip recipe.

My husband personally hates and despises strawberries, and he absolutely loved this recipe. In fact, he craves it randomly at night now. I have to always have these on hand for whenever we are needing a sweet treat!
One thing that I truly love about this recipe is how you can make it your own. You can add more pineapple juice if you please, less strawberries, or even substitute it for other fruits!
My friends personally love it with mangoes and blueberries. The world truly is your oyster, so make it your own!
I have heard from Disney lovers that Dole Whip is more than just a dessert, it’s a taste of tropical paradise that brings joy with every spoonful. It doesn’t matter what you are doing during the hot summer days, but I promise that this creamy delight is sure to hit the spot.
I personally love that I don’t have to travel to Florida or California to get this heavenly treat. I can make this in my own home. That in itself brings so much comfort.
